Its summit ridge marks the border between Nepal and China its Total Height is 8,848 meters (29,028 feet).You Love to see it but beware to wear thick clothes last time when i visit it i got cold.Love you Others Yes I have been to the Himalayas. It is simply majestic. On a clear day you see it from Namche Bazaar in Nepal.You can fly to Lukla from Kathmandu and then trek up to Namche Bazaar. The trek is quite tough...about 5 hours. Best time to see is early morning before the clouds rise and block it. You can also take a flight over it for about US$100. Yes I have been to Everest Base Camp on the Tibet side. Seeing the sunset on Mt Everest is something you NEVER forget. I still pinch myself that I've actually seen it! |
