He or she will need to apply for a passport through the Bangladesh government. This is an identitification document--a small booklet that will have ID information, a photo, etc on the inside. It will also hold the visas. Visas are issued from different countries to allow a person to travel to that country. To get a visa to come to the US, you'd need to apply through the US embassy. Oh thank you Hafiz...sounds like a good idea...yes i noticed Yahoo doesn't include Bangladesh...Don't understand why...I wasn't sure where to post it so I tried to choose somewhere nearby..LOL Here in U.S. you can apply at the post office i think A passport is a travel document, its a little book that has their picture as well as pertinent information. A visa is a stamp that goes into the passport issued by each individual countries that you plan to visit that require a visa giving you permission to visit their country for a specific purpose and time frame. Your friend will need to apply with his country for a passport. Once he receives the passport, then he will need to apply at the US embassy there in Bangladesh for a visa to the US. |
