Travel Info Which is convenient for a group of 5? Travel Tips There is no rails in nepal... so you need to use both... There are many ways to go to nepal from Kolkata.. It mainly depends on where in nepal do you wanna go.... If you wanna go to the eastern to central nepal then the best way would be to go from the kolkata train station to the jalpaigudi... From jalpaigudi (also known as siligudi) take a jeep/bus to kakarvitta. You can easily reach nepal in one day from kolkata... i think you can also take a bus to jalpaigudi/siligudi from kolkata. From Kakarvitta you can get a bus to the major cities of nepal (mainly Kathmandu) for a group of 5 the route would be perfect... If you are in nepal, dont forget to go to POKHARA.. a good place to be in... good luck...and enjoy |
