Travel Info Where are the cool places to hang out in Nepal? Travel Tips Mount Kailash (Kangrinpoche) situated at western part of Tibet, has been considered sacred by Buddhists and Hindus. You are able to do Mount Everest trekking from here. The view is stunning beyond descriptions. I am currently in Nepal, so I know. Others Mount Everest would be cool...or rather... cold. Sorry, never been to Nepal...perhaps one day. The royal palace would be cool ... the king will be out pretty soon. If you are looking for a budget place there is one called Century Lodge which is in the heart of the city and it's in a place called Freak Street (Old hippie place) or they call it Kathmandu Durbar Square. It's one of the tourist spots. Thamel is a nice place to hang out too. Go ahead and try it out. Good luck travelling. http://www.igougo.com/travelcontent/jour...
