Is it still possible to get a direct flight from Europe to Nepal?

I noticed that Lufthansa, KLM and Swiss seem to have no more direct fliehts to Kathmandu anymore. Any suggestions? I need to get from Frankfurt to Kathmandu this spring.

Nowadays there is not direct flight between Nepal and Europe. Qatar Airways operates one with Madrid / Doha / Kathmandu. Otherwsie you have to take connection from Doha, Bankok or New Delhi.

From Frankfurt, (or London) I believe you will need to have a connection-- more than likely one of the small Gulf countries. If you search a little bit, you should be able to find one without a long layover. Austria has a direct flight into Kathmandu. And... that is the extent of my experience. I go to Nepal regularly, but I always connect through one of these cities-- London, Frankfurt, Vienna or Bangkok (from the US).
