Can anyone reccomend a Hotel in Amsterdam? |
Travel Info I am looking for a nice cheap hotel for two of us sharing. (spend my money on smoking) I would idealy like to stop in the city centre. Any reccomendations? Travel Tips Hello, try booking.com Give attention on the guests' reviews. It's a very powerful tool to use the experience of other people. Amsterdam is a very beuatiful city and the canal river make it even nicer and romantic. Source(s): Hotels in Amsterdam sorted by price: http://www.booking.com/searchresults.htm... Other Travel Tips Would you like a hostel ?? If so, Bob's and/or Hans Brinker would be good choices. Look them up online for more info. Both in the center of the city. AMSTEL BOTEL OR HOTEL ACRO BOTH CLEAN AND CENTRAL AND MOST IMPORTANT CHEAP durty nellies... check out the web site ....durtynellies.com aint stay in it myself as it was always booked out......... Hotel Rookies Korte Leidsedwarsstraat 147 1017 PZ Amsterdam www.rookies.nl/uptown I just returned from an Easter weekend stay at this hotel and I can highly recommend it. The hotel also owns a coffeeshop (next door) and a restaurant (across the street). The area around the hotel is full of life; there is a vast selection of bars, restaurants and clubs. The shopping street of Leidsestraat is a five-minute walk. All of Amsterdam's major tourist attractions are also within easy reach, either on foot or by tram. As for the hotel itself, when I arrived the man on the desk actually accompanied me to my room and carried my suitcase up the stairs for me (there is no lift). He then gave me a quick tour of the room's amenities. He also gave me a token for a free welcome drink at the hotel's restaurant. The (single) room was spacious. I was expecting a cupboard-sized room (like many budget hotels in London), but was pleasantly surprised. All rooms are en-suite and come with satellite television including channels such as BBC One and BBC Two and CNN. I will be staying here again next time I travel to Amsterdam. I highly recommend it! try this .http://www.amsterdamcitytours.com... |
