Going to Amsterdam this summer....?

I was just curious, in their coffee shops, can you take their, err, goods out of the shop and along with you?

Yes, my dear, you may take up to 5 grams of their, err, goods onto the street with you. When you first walk into a coffeeshop check out the menu and order based on what is offered. Remember if you can't roll your own they have pre-rolled j's but watch out for Splifs which are tobacco and mj combined. Unless you like that kind of stuff, then that's your bad... If you still can't roll, just ask for the house bong, they usually have one behind the counter. If you want to smoke in bars, etc, that are not coffeeshops. ASK FIRST...they might say yes, but they'll probably say no. Go to Coffeeshop Smokey on the Rembrantplein, they have a pot bar AND a beer bar, the best of both worlds and you can play pool, will the fun never end? But also remember that more people than you think DON'T smoke in Amsterdam so don't just light up where ever you feel. Like I said earlier it's always advised to ask. Another bit of ettiquette is If you decide to smoke the stuff you bought somewhere else rather than the coffeeshop you bought it in, be courteous and buy a soda or a candy bar or something THEN sit down and smoke. And please please do not buy bud from anyone off the street, the bud's not quality, and they will probably keep your money and steal the bud back from you. But don't worry Amsterdam is a nice, cozy city and although you should take care to stay safe, you don't have to lock yourself in by dark. Check out the site below for more coffeeshop info. I agree with all this just NOTE
smoking pot on the streets is officially illegal and also remember u can take it but not take it HOME and in general control of dutch planes on arrival are very strickt. if u carried the pot the dogs will even bark :D So why just not smoke it in the specialy desigend arreas known as COFEESHOP?
yes, but no smoking of goods on the street, keep it in the coffeeshops. also, be sure the place u stay isnt drug free, some are, some arent. just ask!
