Has anyone been to holland or ireland?

If so, what is it like and are the people nice. My dream is to go to these countries because a lot of my ancestors are from these 2 countries.

I'm living in one (The Netherlands) and have been to the other. Ireland is lovely and very English-like (although they'll never admit and probably hate me for saying this). Nature is much more interesting in Ireland, in terms of hills and valleys and sheep. Holland has got a special type of landscape, polders we call them, and lots of water. It's interesting to see how the Dutch cope with living several meters under sea level. Holland is much fuller with people. Both countries have nice beer, nice people and nice cultural things to visit. Source(s): I'm Dutch and have been to Ireland a couple of times

Holland is crowded, but the people are nice. Ireland is not so crowded, but the people are nice. Holland is a lot flatter than Ireland.

been to both i guess Holland would be more fun but there are much more african americans there and crooks.

i've been to both. I thought both were very pretty and both had very nice people. i actually live in the netherlands, and i love it! i have irish heritage as well. :)
