Planning a trip to Holland this summer. Need info on tours/restaurants/etc.? |
Travel Info So I'm planning a trip to Holland this summer. I've only been to Europe once before, and I was only 13 at the time. Now I'm 20 and I want to make the most of the 10 (or so) days I will be there. I want to find info on famous restaurants, good hotels (or other living accomodations), interesting tours, nightlife, and other points of interest in the greater Amsterdam area. I will most likely be travelling during the last 2 weeks of August. I am also thinking about taking some mini trips (during the week) to either France, Germany, or both. It would be nice to get some information on train schedules and other important information. Also, if it's possible, I am a huge fan of Gabber music (a type of electronic music popular in Holland). It would be cool to get information on clubs where Gabber is played. Thanks for any information you can give. Lonely planet has also a site on the Internet, but the book has more info.
