Best drink from amsterdam? |
Travel Info One of my friend comes back to istanbul from amsterdam. Can she buy absinthe from duty free? Which brand? Any other drink you can suggest? Absinth is not a dutch drink, if you want a typical dutch liquor you should ask for "Jenever", "Ketel 1" is a good brand, which I'm sure they have in duty free. It's similar to vodka (and outside the Netherlands it's sold as such). Another liquor is "Beerenburg", which is Jenever with added herbs (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/beerenburg)...
