Travel Info Does any one know how far the red light district in amsterdam is from the city centre?? Travel Tips Amsterdam is only small, the red light district is IN the city centre. Source(s): I'm Dutch and I work in Amsterdam. (in the red light district, come and visit me, haha!) Other Travel Tips Probably in the city centre lol! Why???????? ** Oh, I wasn't being serious, but the person below said I was right! The red light district is in the city centre. From Dam Square it's about a five minute walk to the center of the red light district. About 5 mins from the Centraal Station, across the bridge that'll be on your left. Not far at all. Beware dodgy drug dealers on the bridge though. 10 minutes walk from train station x It is part of the centre |
