Travel Tips I would say you go leave for maybe 2 hours because then you have to get back and go through security again.depending on which airport you are at, YES, a few If you rush like crazy Yes but take a guided tour and be sure they know you have only 4 hrs. I am not sure where you are going to be, somehow I ended up in Netherlands page, so perhaps you mean Amsterdam? If you have customs to deal with, the answer is no. By the time you clear out and have to get back to check in through customs, it will be cutting things close. You might end up with an hour and a half if things go well. But you need a 2 hour checkin... Can you rebook your flights to give you 8 hours or so? If you're talking about Amsterdam airport, Schiphol... Yes, it is, but it's cutting it very close and you risk missing your flight. If you really have four full hours before you need to be back at the airport, you have enough time as a train takes you from the airport right into the heart of Amsterdam in about 20 minutes... You might want to check if you're allowed to leave the airport though, I've had connecting flights where I wasn't and I don't think I ever had any where I was. |
