Should the Netherlands be renamed 'Dutchland'?

Travel Tips
In Dutch that would not be logical. The Netherlands is "Nederland", the dutch call themselves "Nederlanders". So it would be more logical the replace the word dutch with netherlands.
Dutch is referring to the dutch word for German: "Duits", long ago the Dutch changed that to "Diets" for their own language, but that word is not used anymore. The dutch use the word "Nederlands" for their language.

No, that's not a good Dutch name for the Netherlands. Isn't Dutch the English name of the language and the people ?. In Dutch we call ourselves Nederlanders and the language Nederlands. We are not English so we don't want an English name. Are you calling all the country's were people speak English England ? I don't think the Irish, American etc. would like that.
No. Netherlands is loosely translated to "low lands", and as you know most of The Netherlands is below sea level, hence all the dikes and canals.
Having two names, Holland/The Netherlands is confusing enough, we don't need a third, especially one that sounds just like Deutschland.
