Best coffee shops in amsterdam? |
Travel Info what are the names of the best coffee shops in amsterdam? by best i mean : reasonably priced, good atmosphere, good location, not too crowded etc Travel Tips Blue Velvet Others Abraxas. Not the usual tourist trap though lively and chilled out at the same time. They have great decor, not even remotely sedy and they sell their own ash trays which are kind of Moroccan style and really decorative. I really like the Greenhouse, very good decor. Grasshopper, first one you get to from Centraal Station, has several bars with different things going on in each... Hill Street Blues!!! I go there every time I visit Amsterdam, it's run by English people and they're always happy to help with advice on the different types of stuff etc ... It's right by the red light area, just ask and someone will point you in the right direction. Enjoy! Experience .... what I can remember???? hubby says softland's good, but he loves coffee shop 36, its got a huge green frog hanging off the side of the building. he's been goin there for years. plus we recommended it to a student we know he went at easter, hes goin back in aug and said he wont go in any other one, but 36 now. go out of central station accross the bridge, past the posh hotel, turn right its down there on warmoesstraat. xx |
