Travel Info Im going to amsterdam, london, and paris. Should i book indivisual flights/trains or get a europass? Travel Tips It depends on how much you plan to ride the rails. A Europass runs about $450 for the cheapest version, and you will often have to pay a small bit more for reserve seats on most trains. However if you don't plan on going on side trips and just spend your time in the city it would be a waste of money. You have to buy the ticket for the Eurostar from Paris to London seperatly than a europass. If the only other train ticket you need is from Amsterdam to Paris, you would probably be spending more than just buying the single ticket. A Europass doesn't help you with subway fares and actually flying from the main cities is a cheaper way to go. Hope that helps. Others get europass!!` ty 4 points asdf Europasses do actually save you a lot of money, especially if you are going to be taking day/weekend trips to smaller or other towns. Have fun! I have traveled Europe. I have found that a Euro pass is the best route to go, plus you get to see more of the country and familiarize yourself with your surroundings. I had a lot of fun when I traveled using their Transit System. i would look into flying. its not as expensive as you think. easyjet is the southwest airlines of europe. i found flying easyjet saved me time and wasnt really expensive. have fun in amsterdam. stay away from the mushrooms. trust me!!! |
