Does anyone have hotel suggestions for Amsterdam? |
Travel Info I would like to stay close to central station (or around Leidesplein or Damrak) and ideally spend $120 a night or so. Any ideas would be appreciated! (I have always stayed in hostels but now I am going with my husband so not this time. By the way, if you are looking for hostels, do a search on The Flying Pig. It will be the best place you will ever stay!) Travel Tips Hi Julia. I had my honeymoon in Amsterdam on May and stayed at Dikker and Thijs Fenice Hotel. It is on a canal, with most of the rooms have a great view (ask for a canal view room). Great location, 1 min walking distance from Leidesplein. If you like, check my post at tripadvisor.com. I highly recommend the hotel. And by the way, Amsterdam is so-so beautiful! Enjoy!!!! Source(s): http://www.dtfh.nl/en/index.htm... http://www.tripadvisor.com/showuserrevie... Other Travel Tips The Bellevue is great. It is within walking distance to Centraal station (no carrying luggage around streets) and it is extremely well priced. The only issue is that the rooms are on the smaller side. But at 90 Euros per night, you can't complain. Take a look at the website. All rooms offer plasma flatscreens, a wall safe and have been recently updated (very modern). Also check out the reviews on tripadvisor.com http://www.bellevuehotel.nl/?page_id=17... Hotel La Boheme (right off the Leidseplein) was nice when I stayed there a few years ago. The twin (two beds) is about $120. They have free wifi, breakfast, the bar is open late. Nice people. Once you decide; I can offer you a great price on a hotel Contact me at galaxytravel@verizon.net or http://www.galaxy.joystar.com check out http://www.hotels.nl for prices, discounts and reviews by guests... |
