Here's a few that stand out; Kurhaus, http://www.hotels.nl/nl/scheveningen/kur... if you can afford it, this is THE hotel to stay... If you say Scheveningen, you say Kurhaus... Ask for a room with a seaside view... Carlton Beach Hotel http://www.hotels.nl/nl/scheveningen/car... is a good second choice, especially if you can get a room with a view of the sea... If you don't need to be literally a stonethrow from the sea, consider a suite at the Hotel Corona http://www.hotels.nl/nl/the-hague/corona... for less than a regular room at one of the seaside hotels... You couldn't be more in the center of The Hague than the Hotel Corona... There's trams and busses every few minutes to take you to Scheveningen in about 10 to 15 minutes... Des Indes is THE top class hotel of Den Haag, http://www.hotels.nl/nl/den_haag/indes/... The Bel Air hotel is famous for all the jazz greats who have stayed and played there http://www.hotels.nl/nl/the-hague/belair... Other good choices are the Mercure right at the theatre heart of Den Haag http://www.hotels.nl/nl/the-hague/mercur... and The Novotel Passage in the shopping heart of Den Haag http://www.hotels.nl/nl/the-hague/novote... There's lots of other good hotels in Den Haag/Scheveningen and also some not so nice ones... If you want some advice on a specific one, just let me know... Others I stayed at Noordzee hotel a few times, url see source. It's been several years and I've heard they've changed owners or managers since then, but back then I really liked the hotel and the people were very friendly.
