American Book Center, Stores in Amsterdam and the Hague:

Waterstones also have a shop in Amsterdam.
And most bookshops in the Netherlands have English language books, and can order any books you want in almost any language.
I assume that the bookshops in Germany can do the same.

as far as I know, there are plenty of such bookstores in Germany. They do sell English written books in each big book store of each of their big cities. The same for France where I do live. As for Holland, sorry, I wouldn't know.
On the other side, you can order books by www.amazon.com
The American Book Center, in Holland offers All English language books. They also offer 10 % discount to students, any person of 65 years + and card holders of ABC Store & teachers...
They are available at........
1. Kalverstraat 185, Amsterdam 1012 XC, Tel.020-6255537 &
2. Lange Poten 23, Den Haag 2511 CM, Tel.070-3642742
I went to these shops in July 2005
In Amsterdam, the "English Bookstore" discount shop at Muntplein offers rather good deal.. only lesser varieties. Otherwise, American bookstore is as good. Waterstone bookstore is too costly!
depends where you're in Germany - I found a limited english books around Germany but there's a big one in Dusseldorf. A small english section at the book store - most the big town.

in holland there's some special book store for american/english books. it won't be very difficult.
Any book store will sell books in the English language.
