Travel Info
I have already visited Rome, Paris, London and Swiss. I am looking for places to visit which has history and beautiful landscapes.

Travel Tips
Copenhagen in Denmark is a beautiful city as is Aalborg in the north of Denmark.

Spain in general is gorgeous and has lots of history and fairly decent weather.

The bavarian region of germany is has breathtaking vistas.

Ireland is fun...Dublin is great for a good pint o' guinness.

Make sure you go to Bruges in Belgium, beautiful! You can also visit Antwerp or Brussels.
I can recommend Berlin (a lot of history, but very vibrant as well. It's also a city with an incredible amount of nature!)

Or visit Barcelona in Spain. Great city, with mountains (Pyrenees) and the sea very closeby!

In the Netherlands itself, half an hour by train from Amsterdam, there's the city of Leiden, a medieval university town with many old buildings, great museums and nice pubs and restaurants.
I live in Europe.
me and two of my friends are heading to europe this summer for 3 months, and are visiting sweeden, romania, czech, and greece
If you go to Amsterdam, you must visit Brugge (Bruges is what people who never visited it call it). It's in nearby Belgium. It's one of the oldest and most beautiful and romantic cities in Europe. Spend one night here!

To get there, buy a train ticket to Brugge, which will involve switching trains in Antwerpen, but the schedules are very user friendly.

Brussels is not worth visiting until you've seen Brugge, Gent and Antwerp, preferably all overnight. It's grey, burocratic and dull. Looks like an Amsterdam suburb. Only the Grote Markt (grand market square) is worth seeing, then take a train to nearby Leuven, a 17th Century university town. Whatever your age, spend a few nights here to party!
Check out the Netherlands itself for some weeks..

Go to the Wadden eilanden (wadden islands) which are very beautiful and quiet.

In the province of Drente you will find old Celtic burial grounds and graves. That province is also very beautiful, a lot of nature, has a very old history and still a lot of cute old farms, digged half into the ground. Very charming.

Then the province of Zeeland (Sea land). There a few of the biggest European rivers come to their end in the sea. The province is very rich in history, many of our famous historical people came from there and sailed out to explore the world. (To be less proud of, they also plundered the world..)

Historical cities or towns in the Netherlands are for example Utrecht http://www.12utrecht.nl/ ,
Maastricht http://www.vvvmaastricht.nl/index2.php3... ,
Den Haag http://www.denhaag.com/default.asp?id=do... ,
Nijmegen http://www.hotels-holland.com/info/nijme... .

Other countries to go to: Greece, a country that has it all and I love the islands!! Great nature, climate, food, friendly people, history, beautifull sunsets.....!

German has some fairytale looking villages and houses. And Berlin, which is great o visit.
France is very beautiful with good food and of course Paris. Or go to Avignon to see the medieval palace of the popes.
I've never been to Scandinavia but it is supposed to be good. Cold, but a lof of nature.

Whatever you will do, have fun!
