Travel Info What is a good hotell to stay in, in amsterdam? Travel Tips I would stay in an apartment versus a hotel. Rooms in Amsterdam are expensive and very small, even by European standards. I used to live there and it is a great town. On my last visit we satyed in a great apartment on the Dam for far less than 2 hotel rooms, which we would have had to get because there were four of us traveling together. The best part of the apartment is that you have everything you need including dvd, stereo, linens, etc. and you can eat cheaper. Try www.stayamsterdam.com we have had good luck there!
