Children's programs in Dutch?

Travel Info
I am American but have recently moved to Belgium, and my daughter attends a Dutch speaking school. She has learned the basics, but I would like to know if anyone could recommend some good programs for children in Dutch. so she can become fluent faster? She's 8, so no Telletubbies or other baby programs. Also- she loves Spongebob... is that translated into Dutch? The only ones I could find online have Dutch subtitles but the voices are still in English, which doesn't help much. Thanks in advance for your help.

Travel Tips
If you got a DVD player you can rent / buy a movie she likes and choose dutch for language, most of the movies for the dutch marked have also a Dutch spoken version on the DVD. Maybe some children on her school can borrow here a DVD or go to the library.
Are there no Dutch programs on the Belgium television ?

You can find spoken (children stories) on this website
http://www.hoorspelen-en-luisterverhalen...
Maybe your daughter like to listen to them.

and
You can watch Dutch children programs from the Dutch television on your pc on

http://www.tvopjepc.nl/programma/79...

click on
Meer uit het genre jeugd (more Youth programs) on the right in the green section

For excample klokhuis, is a nice childrens program.

Terugkijken means that you can watch the program who has already been on tv
Look at the list under terugkijken
Laatste aflevering means that you can watch the latest program.

Jeugdjournaal = news for children. Special made for children and every evening around 18.45 on the dutch television.
On internet you can see it also
http://www.nos.nl/jeugdjournaal/voorpagi...
click in the pink sector on
laatste uitzending = latest program
uitzendingen = programs
You can choose if you want to see the latest program or from Maandag (monday) etc.
But I'm sure your daughter wil find her way if she knows a little bit dutch.

Hi there. If you have cable let her look at Ketnet which is national television. It's on the same channel as "Canvas". It becomes Ketnet in the morning and the early afternoon.
Check out this site for more information: http://www.vrt.be
or ketnet.be
Regards
you could go to www.bol.com and order online the spongebob movie, it is in dutch and in english, kids here don't read to well so they will always have cartoons translated in dutch but on dvd you can choose and so also watch it in english. Ketnet is really a nice channel in belgium to watch tv programmes on most are in dutch the hosts will talk flemmish wich is like dutch but with a slight accent, you might be able to pick up some nickelodeon, most cartoons on there are also in dutch but not sure if you have that in belgium. good luck

o and you might want her to get into K3 a girlband for little girls like yours, all kids love them and the songs are great, here in holland they are very populair as well.
Spongebob is on the Dutch TV in Dutch.
The tv chanel is called Talpa and it is in the afternoon.
Jeugdjournaal (news for kids) and Sesamstraat on national TV are good for learning, but can you receive that? And
Sponge Bob is not subtitled, it's translated into Dutch.
