Travel Info Where is Jordaan district located in Amsterdam? Travel Tips Jordaan is not far from dam square, but you can get closer. You're going to want to do most of your "touring" near Dam Square and Rembrandtsplein. The best value for money is the Cordial Hotel, which is 200m from Dam Square on the way to Rembrandtsplein (actually not too far from Jordaan, either). I've stayed there a dozen times or so, and have also stayed in at least a dozen other hotels in Amsterdam. It's clean with a bathroom and centrally located, but basic. You will find it at www.hotels.nl along with other hotel deals. Others Around the Lindengracht, in the vicinity of Noorderkerk (North Church).
