Travel Info What are the essentials Id need to have a really good time - I mean food wise, clothes, money 2 bring - just gimme a list of the **** you think would be the best 2 bring - Im trying 2 pack light - keep in mind -like a stoner survival kit for 4 dayz in Amsterdam Travel Tips I would start with advising not to bring any food. WHy would u bring food? try the frenchfries on the street and u never want something else. Holland in april is always tricky. MAke sure u have something that can take some rain. and also a warms weater caus the nights in april are stil cold. Its rare but sometimes holland has snow in april. In amsterdam all credit cards are expeted and there are many atm麓s so dont take to much money. U can pay in most places with dollars but u always will pay a BAD rate. Somehow Yankees love to be ripped off aslong as they can pay with there homesweethome dollars :P. Last thing i recommand is something to carry ure ID and other documents. Like a waste bag. U would not be the first Stoner who flight all weekend but did not remember where he had his tickets ore passport :P HAve fun enjoy the city and behave :P. Others For a cheap hostel and meeting other along the trip go to the Stay okay ostel near Leidseplein at the Vondelpark. Make sure you keep your documents and money close to you, as there are many pick pockets in the city, luring at tourist that are negelcting there things. If you want to use the public transport, buy the 3 day ticket, which allows you on all means of transportation and you don't have to buy single tickets all the time, which are far more expensive. Bring some long sleeved shirts and a jacket, because it can be still cold and windy,but there have been very sunny times too. To bad you're missing out on queensday april 30th, because the whole city parties that day and have DJ's playing all over town. You need to bring at least one week of clothing and that is socks and underwear shirt and 2 sweaters and raincoat dress shoes and good walking shoes as well as water proof . Umbrella if want . Money wise you need at least 150 EU a day for lodging and food and that is no gift . Bring a good camera and conserve your cash its expensive . |
