How are the tulips right now? |
Travel Info I'm traveling from the US to amsterdam next week and I wanted to know how the tulip bloom is right now and what the weather is like. Thanks! Travel Tips Im afraid the BIG tulip fields are not blooming yet. However there are still enough blooming right now. The weather is fine but never forget. April doet wat hij wil. What means u never know with the weather of april it can be sunny it even can be snow (wich is rare by the way) Did those people who posted before me realy didnt get u were talkin about The netherlands. And gym girl did u just beg for a best answer pick?? HIHIHI :P Others i like them when they're on my organ... i live in chicago and they are 5 inchs tall they are great. i picked one yesterday and it is beautiful i hope you can enjoy them on your trip! enjoy!!! (plz pick as best answer) Right now the tulips are growing. They will be in full bloom NORMALLY between the 2nd and 3d week of april. The most interesting place for visiting tulips is a kind of national park called Keukenhof at Lisse (near The Hague). Really awesome. Or you could just drive through the "polders" South of Amsterdam airport, Schiphol. The weather has been glorious in Amsterdam all week, but of course that means rain can't be too far away! The tulips fields near to Amsterdam are probably not quite to their full splendor yet. http://www.keukenhof.nl/ If you want to see flowers, especially tulips, visit this park. It's open in springtime. You can walk around there all day. |
