Travel Info Would it be it be fun in May in Amsterdam? Travel Tips Since you ask about a specific month, you mean if the weather will be okay? It's unlikely to be really hot but often we do have nice weather in May, for our climate... chances are you'll be able to do a lot of sight-seeing and sit outside on the Dam in the sun, but do take a decent coat, umbrella & sweater in case it's a lot cooler. The weather's really very unpredictable here, last year we had the hottest July ever, when temperatures hit the 40'sC/100'sF several days in a row, which is *very* rare here to even happen for one day, but it was followed by the wettest August ever; I wore sweaters & coat all that month and that's August, definitely *should* have been summer. Weather's always been unpredictable and it's only getting worse. If you're asking whether any touristy things will be open, sure, Amsterdam is enough of a tourist spot the canal tours, tourist shops, museums etc etc are open year round! Others Its always fun in Amsterdam I am off there in May the weekend 18-20th See ya about xx if you like what Amsterdam has to offer. lol. I loved Amsterdam!! I went in October of 2000 and fell in love with it immediately! That where all the bl**dy Tulips come from huh. Music It's a fun place any time of year, hope you enjoy it! |
