New Olreans Tours? |
Travel Info I am interested in going on a few tours while I'm in New Orleans. I am especially interested in the spooky tours. Ghosts, Vampires, Voodoo, Cemetary...there are too many to chose from! Which tours and tour companies do you think are the best? Travel Tips My boyfriend is from Detroit.. when he 1st moved here he didn't know anything about New Orleans so we went on a bunch of tours heh.. some of the ones we went on was done by a French Quarter shop called Reverend Zombies VooDoo Shop. http://www.hauntedhistorytours.com/... They were alot of fun. We went on their Cemetary tour.. Garden District Tour and Ghost Tour.. they were all Very well done .. I would highly recommend them. the Ghost Tour you sould do at night.. they have an 8pm - 10pm. The others during the day .. ( i dont think they offer them at night anywayz) Before I went on the cemetary tour .. i didn't think it would be that interesting... just walking through a cemetary.. but it was awesome.. very good stories... and you get to make a wish on VooDoo Queen Marie Laveau's grave. Source(s): Nola Local Other Travel Tips I've been on the VooDoo Shop tour with my wife & daughter, and it was great...and do take it at night like nola_caju mentions above. Make sure you take the graveyard tour...in a tour, don't take it by yourself or with just one/two other people...things happen. Also, we took the Garden District tour and it was very nice...lots of old homes. And, we also had a great time on a plantation tour. |
