New York Subway to John Jay College from Penn Station and back? |
Travel Info Does anyone know what letter/number subway to take from Penn Station to get to John Jay College the fastest? and then what subway letter/number to take from around John Jay college to get back to penn station the fastest? Travel Tips There is no subway near John Jay. But from the 8th ave exit from Penn Station, you can take the number 10 bus up 8th ave and get off at 59th st and walk over to 10th ave and John Jay. Going back walk one block to 9th ave and take the number 20 bus down to Penn station (33rd st) and then walk on block east to the back of Penn Station. Others take the 6 train local to 77th street.john jay is on lexington ave.which is where you will end up,once you exit the train station. You could take the A or E to 59th Street, Columbus Circle, or even the 1 train. Regardless you will need to walk a little bit since John Jay College is on 10th Avenue near the Hudson River on the west side. go to www.hopstop.com it will show you the fastest route there is no subway there The C train from Penn Station will do it.
