What is there to do in NYC? |
Travel Info Our class wants to go there and half of us want to go to see Wicked, but the other half doesn't. What could we have them do that they would want to do (8th grade boys) that's cheapish. Travel Tips Sony Wonder Lab is free and a great place to spend a few hours - four floors of interactive games, exhibits, etc. It's located at Madison Avenue and 56th Street, so it's right near FAO Schwarz, Serendipity, Dylan's Candy Bar, Bloomingdale's, Central Park. http://wondertechlab.sony.com/plan/index... Others 5 dollar hookers in times square should be pretty fun The museum of science, the empire state building, the line at Empire state is usually longer than the show. Well, i live and work in NYC and I can tell you you don't have to worry about seeing Wicked as that is sold out till like november. Great play though. the beauty of new york is that you don't need alot of money to enjoy it, especially at your age as you won't be going to any clubs or bars. Just walk around and take pictures of whatever you find interesting. Go the the Museaum of naturally History, they ask for a donation to get in so give them as much or as little as you want. send them to the hard rock...from what a remember it was pretty cheap I'd recommend museums, Central Park, and if it's in the budget...walking tours/cruises. There's actually a bunch of free stuff to do in NYC including museums. Check out NYCTouristCenter.com for a list of free things to do. http://www.nyctouristcenter.com... |
