Spring break?? (N.Y.?)?

Anyone know when Spring break takes place in New York and/or New Jersey? I like kids, but when I am on a Cruise Ship, I prefer NOT to do it when kids are on Spring break. It gets very hectic...I want to get away and relax. I see enough kids when I get back!!

Travel Tips
Stay off a cruise ship anytime in the month of April. You are either going to run into children or college spring breakers. Larger metro school districts don't all recognize religious holidays, but many do. My daughter has off the whole week after Easter, but this is going to spread between primary schools and colleges througout the month.

Easter break here in NYC for the public school kids started on 4/2 and will end on 4/10
in south jersey like seaside it starts in 2 weeks for seaside school and 1 week for toms river schools
