Pure-bred New Yorkers hate foreigners?

I feel the need to get this off my chest. For New Yorkers BORN and RAISED, do you sometimes get irritated when you hear about people planning on moving here from other states or countries or is it just me? Call me arrogant, but I would never live in any other place other than New York (I believe I can't survive anywhere else) and it's overpopulated as it is. Do you think New York should close off its borders to everyone and anyone foreign born for a few years(but that i mean state and country)?. I live in Brooklyn and it's seriously getting harder and harder to live here with all these westerners moving in because people keep jacking the prices up. I understand it's a tourist location but COME ON. Stay in your home state. New York is diverse enough. Any one agree with me?

Jeez....... New York attitude. So special and so disconnected from the US. No wonder you can pick a New Yorker out anywhere in the US. So self important.

All these westerners..you are a westerner....or is that a yank term westerner..did you mean from the west coast.
This is weird. Now don't get me wrong, I mean no malice, but this is how I feel about NYers moving to California. I've worked for two NY companies with offices here. NYers, in my experience, have this overbearing, elitist attitude, at least my ex-coworkers did. They were always comparing their city to Calfornia cities. Of course, everything is always better over there.

Why stay here if you don't like it? Go home, NYers, go home.

Now this is directed to the rude NYers only. If you're a nice NYer (maybe two of you in California?), please ignore me.
There should be a limit to the amount of time someone can live in New York. The granite outcrop of Manhattan Island emits radioactive radon gas which is the cause of the NY attitude. I'm not sure if this also affects the Bridge & Tunnel people.
