Can you tell me some fun things to do in NYC other than the basic stuff? |
Travel Info No shopping sites, NO Broadway Plays they bore me, No museums, I have seen them all including the wax museum, and I have been to the Empire state building, Trump Tower, Comedy Clubs, and that sort of stuff. What else is there to do...including nightlife? Where are the "In" places to go? In manhatton? Travel Tips go to rockerfeller center and look for a bicycle cab, have them drive you through times square, West on 49 st then south down 7th ave or bdwy., best way to enjoy the ride is to do it after dark and have someone that you want to be real close to next to you, a drink or two before the ride is also nice, a memorable experience :) Others Go to Washington Park at night. It's not scary/dangerous. When I went there were a ton of people out there. Some rastah's jamming off in 1 corner, some guys hustling drugs in another corner, couple folks sitting and chatting over there, and others just strolling through. Depending on your interests - try the Apple store (I know you said no shopping but it's a cool gadget store), Top of the Rock Observation deck provides great views (photography?)of the city (completely different tha ESB) as it overlooks Central Park. For nightlife - try Hell's Kitchen area or Meatpacking District. Try Off Broadway shows for more edgy fare - check vistnyc.com for events calendar during your visit. Good Luck! |
