I am going to spend a day in New York City with my friend..but we only have $30.? |
Travel Info what are some free/cheap/fun things to do in NYC? This is my idea so far... bring my video camera and record eachother doing funny things....like running like a monkey down china town or something...ha. Travel Tips In NYC,pretty much you won't need to worry about entertainment,because there's some everywhere you go.You see things you never seen anywhere else before.Bring a camera,take a lot of pictures.And,save those $30 as much as you can because you will need food.And,it's not cheap in NYC,depending on the area you will go. I would say,bring food from home,make a picnic at Central Park.Save about $10 to get some water and beef parties or pizza later on the evening. Go sightseeing,maybe visit the World Trade Center area.It is free. But,one thing though.You will need a metro card to go places,and that's $2 for each person EACH WAY.Or if you have a car,you will need parking money because they will give tickets easily or revoke your car,depending on the situation. If you will take the subway to places,I suggest you buying the ALL Day unlimited metro card,which is $7 for each person.That is a must if you don't have transportation. Good Luck. Others with that much money you can afford to eat at mcdonalds and treat yourself to some rootbeer, then go walk it off in the park:) Go to central park. Tons of free fun there. well go do some window shopping and walk around a lot , rest in Central park and spend the money on cold drinks and some hotdogs I think that's a great idea. What about food thoough? You should watch $40 a day on the Food Network. I think you can make it work, just do not go into any place expecting to buy anything. Thirty dollars? About the only thing you can do is do window shopping, and lunch at a fast food place, and the $30 is gone. There are so many things to do there, too bad you couldn't save that bit of money until you incurred a bigger amount. Well there are museums that charge no admission, window shopping is always free, and thank God Mc Donalds has a dollar menu yet! |
