Is there anything going on in Manhattan this weekend that a 22 y.o. girl would like? |
Travel Info I'm hanging out with two friends who I have not seen for a while. Is there a place in the city where we can eat and talk and have a good time (live entertainment is a plus)? Travel Tips Downtown Manhattan and the West Village have lots of places to "eat and talk", have drinks (outside) and see/hear live music. The South Street Seaport (pier) is a great place to visit this time of year. Other Travel Tips i will have to agree, just walk around a find a place to do something. Literally every where you go there is something to do Go shopping, Century 21 is great for designer stuff, across the st from the wtc site. up near madison sq garden there is a bar called local on 33 and 8 the bar is on the roof top. the black sheep on 3rd ave around 36 st also has a nice crowd. for food you could try dallas bbq, reasonable prices and huge drinks 8th st and university, 42 tween 8th & 7th , 23 st and 8th, or 72 st just west of the park. Have a good time. its fleet week. Flirt with all the sailors (and cops). make reservations at sushi samba n 7th ave and christopher street. fun spanish/japense fusion food, live music, great ambiance, located by all the clubs and close to 8th street (all the best shopping) |
