A little getaway for 5 days in NYC?

I have planned a little getaway for 5 days to NYC for me and my boyfriend, we want to know about excellent restaurants, bars and romantic places. They could be from Museums to the Zoo.

New York is very hot right now the temperature is over 92 degrees so if your planning to come make sure you dont bring any jackets. Maybe a sweater but thats all.

I'm not sure, never been to NYC. I live in New Zealand, and there is no city life here! lol All the same nz rocks!
Remember that you cannot just walk into most restuarants in NYC and get a seat. You need reservations for the better ones. Look at opentable.com and make some well in advance (the best ones book up a month in advance)
