What city is cheaper to live in? london or new york city?

Travel Tips
By default, NYC is cheaper, because one GB Pound is about 2 US Dollars.
Others
Would depend on your income.
Both are pretty expensive but considering your income to be moderate to high, then NY is cheaper. Remeber that London has pounds and a pound is right now 1.8 dollars.
Depends on your standard of living. Europeans are able to "do without" fancies much more than Americans. Have you lived in a large city before? Done without a car and had to use bus/subway/taxi/foot travel for transportation? Had to haul your groceries up four flights? Not been worried about a stellar neighborhood? Do you expect to come and go in the dark?

Remember that London's weather is different from NYC as well as the sunrise/sunset schedule. Winter lack of sunlight there is quite eye opening. Can you deal with sun only from 9am-3pm? Lots to consider.
nyc is cheaper
NYC is cheaper and the pay (for the same exact job) is better
