Can two people share one meal in New York? |
Travel Info As there portions are so big, would it be okay to share a meal?? Travel Tips In the proper restaurants, the portions are no bigger than over here. Source(s): Just got back today. Other Travel Tips I would think so. Everything's bigger in New York. yeah its like going and asking for a meal for two for one. yes but i bet you have to pay a "sit down" fee...??? It depends on the eatery. Usually diners and low budget food places don't mind. More expensive establishments will show you the door. After all, they are running a business and have bills to pay. You could share an entree...some restaurants might have a "plate sharing fee." But, if you are on a budget, eat in the "hole in the wall" places. They are really cheap and have the delicious food..For instance, instead of going to Tao for good Asian food..take the subway down to Chinatown and enjoy some really really delicious dim sum... |
