What season is the best in NY city ? |
Travel Info What season is the best in NY city ? Travel Tips Winter/Sumer, don't bother. It gets to the hundreds here in the summer, and we have alot of black tar all over this city. In fact, much of the work done on the streets has a tendency to melt and get sticky (the tar that is) and in the winter, it barely ever snows, and when it does snow, the snow turns to a nasty brown color pretty fast. Spring/Fall is probably the best time to come, but it really depends on you. Spring: Allergens all over the place, but a very pretty time for the city, all the trees a sprouting flowers and such. Prices on hotels tend to rise during this period though. Still, a lot of things happen in the city during this time. Fall: not as pretty, but a lot of orange leaves in the outer boroughs. Temps are pretty moderate, where as in spring they tend to fluctuate to very cold to middle ground to very hot. Hotel prices seem to hit a middle ground during this period.Spring time by far, its not too hot so ur sweating ur pants off, but its not too cold either so you wont need to pack a really heavy jacket, but bring a windbreaker cause the wind helps make it cold here too. winter itsw beautiful in new york in the winter I went in the fall, and it was really nice.If you're going there, any season would be gorgeous I'm sure. But,I plan on moving there in a few years,so it's great for me in any weather! Autumn. November is nice. Spring/ Summer...There is nothing quite like hanging out in Central Park, hanging out at rooftop lounges and bars...or people watching sitting outside at a cafe....or south street seaport...a great place to enjoy during good weather..or even street fairs... Winter is nice - but only if it snows...there's something quite magical about the holiday season nonetheless.. |
