Travel Tips
Where are you coming from? The obvious answer would be to park at the entrance of a train or Path train or some type of public transportation. There are Path stations in NJ and train stations in Connecticut or suburbs of NY such as Westchester

You will save gas and environmental damage

The 49th street garage is a good place to park.
You are joking if you think you will get away with low parking prices. The 49th St garage is about as low as it gets, but you need to remortgage your home, not your life savings.

Otherwise, park outside the city on a train route.
Check out the garage at the Skyline hotel on 10th at 49th. Convenient into the city and out.
Also conveinient to theaters and shopping!
Enjoy!
It might be cheaper to park at the airport & take a cab or bus to Manhattan.
Park in Hell's Kitchen, then take the crosstown bus into mid-town. It will save you a bundle.
Prepare yourself to pay.
No cheap locations.

Sorry.
Skyline hotel also a good place to stay for the night
not super fancy but affordable nonetheless, New York prices anyway.
