Cab from JFK to 7th and E 34th St.? |
Travel Info Hello, Does anyone know approximately how much a cab from JFK to Manhattan would cost me? Also, how long should the drive take at around 4pm on a weekday? Thanks! Travel Tips yea the flat fee is around $55 with tip. 4 pm on a weekday is BRUTAL! You should just take the air train to the A train which would take about an hour. Who knows how long it will take in the cab with all that rush hour traffic. Plus you can't beat the price of the air train plus subway...all together may be about $5?? Others 50 dollars but the trip will be a long one try the metro It's a flat fee from JFK to Manhattan -- $45 plus toll (if any, depends on which bridge you take) and tip = >$50 total. Time is really impossible to predict but with traffic at that hour, an hour's drive would not be unusual. 7th avenue intersects with *west* 34th street, but if that's where you're going, that's right at penn station, and you should definitely take the train! board the "airtrain" monorail ($5) from jfk terminals to jamaica train station, then get on a Long Island Railroad train bound for Manhattan -- $7 at rush hour. This way you save about $40 and traffic is not an issue. nyc resident |
