What is the most popular or best known Barnes and noble in New York City? |
Travel Info I was wondering, thanks. Travel Tips Definitely the one in Lincoln Center at W67 and Broadway. It's very big and clean. They have book signings and other interesting activities all the time. Others The one down by ah, ah, the financial district.... Fulton St. the one in lincoln center, alot of celebs frequent that one, I saw Howard Stern in the cafe, Barnes & Noble Booksellers 33 East 17th Street New York, NY 10003 (212) 253-0810 Ignore this giant bookstore at your own peril. While Barnes & Noble has something like ten million locations in Manhattan alone, writerly types flock to the Union Square location for readings, signings, and discussions. Held on the expanisive fourth floor (which also provides one of the better views of Union Square Park) plenty of big-name authors have come through鈥?here, from Garrison Keiller to Armistead Maupin. It's centrally located, creatively populated, and convenient to plenty of restaurants and bars where you and the bespectacled hottie you just picked up can retire after the reading. http://gridskipper.com/travel/books/lite... http://storelocator.barnesandnoble.com/s... Lincoln Center. I think it has three floors with hard to find books. Union Square and Lincoln Center are the biggest ones, I think. I prefer the Union Square one. |
