And I can walk across the street to the subway and get to work faster than I could by car, I can walk to the supermarket, pharmacy, and about 100000000000000 restaurants or bars from my apartment (most of them REALLY good). Others job oppurtunity or college heritage Because it's an absolutely wonderful environment to live in...people are willing to pay lots of money to live in a tiny apartment as long as they can be a part of one of the best cities in the entire world. :) One reason is that the pay in NYC is better, and there are jobs here in many fields that other parts of the country may lack. just that -- it's new york Well, New York state has a lot of opportunities if you think about it. You can go to upstate New York, and ski, then go to long island for beaches and stuff. You can go to NYC for the whole city experience. There are also factors such as family, job opportunities, and other, more reasonable reasons. |
