Travel Tips the best way to learn about people who live in new york (i'm guessing you mean new york city) is to go here yourself. there are so many people here that there's no way to find out unless you see it yourself. :) here in manhattan i see alot of models and sometimes famous actors, actresses, directors and athletes walking about. in the morning and late afternoon buisness people are rushing around while sophisticated woman blow hundreds of dollars on pairs of jimmy choos and chanel purses. and then you have the tourists getting snap happy with their cameras and getting lost all over the place. at night the whole city is lighted up and the most breathtaking place to be is time square, no matter how crowded. :) Others What sort of people? BYC is crawling with famous people, from the obvious such as athletes with the Mets and Yankees (Bobby Thompson of the 1951 Giants, who still lives on Staten Island), to many actors and entertainers, politicians, etc. Ethnically, NYC includes almost every ethnic group on Earth. State law requires schools to offer bilingual classes if 20 or more children speak some particular foreign language at home. There are public schools with as many as seven different bilingual classes, and such classes exist for Arabic, Urdu, Creole, Cantonese, Ukrainian, Hebrew and many other languages. Another sign of the city's ethnic diversity can be seen in the range of foreign cuisines offered in restaurants, including Georgian, Jamaican, and Armenian (just to mention three I like). Well they kind of have a different kind of voice then some other people in the USA. celebrities live there. they have china people in china town.they are rude mean nice kind and stuff like that cause NYC has lots of different people.they have homless people. Buissnes workers. Oh and bruce willis has a apartmen over there. Trump towers.the Today show. late show I think uhh saturday night live. yankees and more............................. |
