Are there decent, inexpensive hotels near LaGuardia Airport?

Leaving for Mexico in August for a week and need a good, clean inexpensive hotel near LaGuardia Airport in NY. We have three little ones all under 4, so a good, safe area is a premium. Thank You!

There's actually a fairly new hotel right across from LaGuardia...go to LaGuardia's website and see what comes up for hotels...the area isn't really terribly unsafe.

From June 20-28, I'm staying at the Waldorf Astoria, the most elegant and expensive hotel in the city. Don't be cheap, go to the most expensive hotel in New York City, the Waldorf.
