Thinking of reloacting to a NYC suburb. I want to be close to the city since my family lives in the Bronx.? |
Travel Info However, I don't need to be in a commuter town b/c I will not need to commute into the city via Metro-North on a daily basis. A good, family oriented neighborhood with great schools is important. Maybe 45min - 1 hr outside of the Bronx at the most. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Travel Tips Move to rockland county if it is in your budget nyack is close to the tappan zee bridge and from there the bronx is like 20 mins away i live in pearl river and i love it i moved from inwood in manhattan and as much as i love the city i love having a nice big yard and having a quiet street to come home too.. pearl river is really i suggest moving here or even some surrounding towns like spring valley or nanuet Others Check out Bergen County, or go further out in jersey. Or get your family to help pay for a real big place and all of you move outta the bx :) Rockland County (Nyack, Pearl River, West Nyack, New City, Nanuet, etc) Westchester Country (White Plains, Yonkers, Tarrytown, etc) Jersey (on the border) (Fort Lee, Alpine, Oradell, Paramus, etc) Connecticut (Fairfield, Greenwich, Stamford, etc) All those counties neighbor NYC without going into Long Island... I'm from the area... |
