Can anyone recommend a decent hotel around the Central Park area?

If you got the bucks, and I mean big bucks, there is the Trump Plaza on Central Park West. Also the Ritz and the Waldorf are a good walking distance, but doable, to Central Park. Of course, we are talking about $500 a night. Yet there are those who visit NYC who could afford it. The further you get away from midtown and Central Park the less expensive hotels are. There are some nice ones expensive yet with less costly price tags in Chelsea. Real bargains are in New Jersey or Queens. |
