What trains do I take from 96th (1, 2, 3, 9) out to Coney Island? |
Travel Info What trains do I take from 96th (1, 2, 3, 9) out to Coney Island? Travel Tips I would make it real easy on you. Just take the Downtown #1 train to 59th street/Columbus circle. Transfer to the Downtown D Train and take that all the way to Coney Island Simple as that Source(s): native Other Travel Tips A lot of trains go to Coney Island - The Q, , the D, the F and the N - Stillwell Avenue is a terminal station, but the IRT trains don't go there. Get the Q at Times Square or the Q, D, F or N at 34th Street. Most of the ride is out of doors, so you can take a different train back and enjoy the view of Brooklyn. (The Q is fast, the N is slow). Or, you can change at 59th Street for the B, take that to Sheepshead Bay and change for the Q, or take the IRT to Atlantic Avenue and change for the Q. Hey, I recommend to look at Hopstop.com The 9 train doesn't exsist anymore. But you would take the 2 train to Times Square then get on the N train and take that all the way to Coney Island. |
