How secure it is to travel to N.Y this next December???? |
Travel Info I want to go to N.Y in december but by the terrorism and those things I don't know if I should travel to N.Y.What do you think?? Travel Tips I'm in NYC, it resonably safe here. There's security all over and thank goodness nothing has happened since 9/11. Just use common sense, don't walk in deserted places, if you see something odd, tell a cop or a city employee and just generally be aware of things. This is a great town, wonderful to visit. Others i went to nyc last summer andhad a great time and I felt pretty safe while I was there but if you really don't feel comfortable then it might be a good idea to travel with someone who knows the area I've lived here all my life and after I'd say about a few months after 9/11 most people were less on edge and it's been almost 6 years already. So I'd say come on over it's New York not Afghanistan. I live here and I could careless about terrorism warnings. If you live your life in fear like that, you'll never do anything. There are 20 million people that live in the NY metro area. Do you think we let the fear of terrorism stop us from going on with our lives? Nope. its been 6 yrs. we still live. we still go to school/work evryday. a lot of people still come to nyc. u can too. |
