To Whom It May Concern:

We approach you in the matter of sponsorship for 4 foster children. I鈥檝e had the pleasure of being a foster parent for the past 6yrs, throughout these years I have fostered over 10 sets of siblings. Last year my husband and I took in set of siblings teenage girls that have been in the 鈥渟ystem鈥?for over 10yrs and a drug addicted baby boy. Our young ladies will be with us until they are ready to leave the nest.

The girls have never been on a vacation, never gotten on a plane and never experienced a real family until now. My husband I have planned a family trip to New York City which includes a visit to the Statue of Liberty, The World Trade center site, Empire State Building, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and The Museum of Modern Art. I was also able to obtain tickets to The Apollo Theater, 鈥淏roadways鈥?The Color Purple and a BET taping of 106 & Park.

Travel Tips
Wow. I have 2 foster sisters now and they would love to go on this trip. You are doing a great thing for these girls. And I know about how much money you get per month to take care of them and I know that won't cover this. I don't know you.... or them but I'd like to thank you for giving them this opportunity. I'm sure it will mean a lot to them.

don't take on what you can't afford, your not setting a good example for the children if your asking for handouts.
Kids are happy just having a family picnic, they don't need to travel to another state to see a opera....geesh i've never done such a thing for myself unless i've got the bucks upfront
happy picnics are good enough
