What is the weather like in New-York City in July ? |
Travel Info hello, I'm planning a trip in NYC in July, and I woudl like to know how the weather used to be by that time. Thank you for answering me ! Travel Tips Have you ever read a description of hell? Chances are the author wrote that while standing on a subway platform. Seriously, the weather in July and August is awful - hot, humid - nothing but hot air circulating between the tall buildings, steam coming up from the concrete. You get pushed against hot, sweaty, grumpy people (who don't all smell like roses). Fortunately, most stores, restaurants, offices, etc are airconditioned. The buses and subways are usually very comfortable, but, if you have to wait for a train underground - ugh!. My advice to all visitors: Avoid the lowest level of the West Fourth Street Station and the 34th Street Station - they are infernos! Walk or take a bus to the next station, if possible. When it gets hotter its not so much the heat that will bother you but how muggy it can get becasue of the crowds. Have fun! |
