Travel Info Is New York City, the city with the most alcohol consumers and why? Travel Tips Yes, because the city has over twice as much people as the second largest city in america. So there is more people to drink, literally. NYC is a very upscale city, wine is very popular. Internationally, I think Dublin, Ireland is the highest PER CAPITA. Others My opinion - no. the largest city in the world would have the most alcohol consumers. How ever if you base it on a % of the population, then a smaller city or town would win out. I believe a fair & accurate measure would be alcohol consumption per capita (person) as a measure of consumers & how much - in that case the province of Alberta Canada wins hands down, least that's what I heard on a news program recently i would think it would be London, isnt that why the saying says "drunk as a lord"? We dont have lords in New York. |
